An Invitation to Work Together
Where understanding becomes growth, and calm becomes change.
When people choose to work with me, they’re not looking for another consultant or coach.
They’re looking for something deeper — a space to pause, make sense of complexity, and find clarity without losing themselves in it.
I bring together years of experience across psychology, systems reform, community leadership, coaching, enterprise, and facilitation — helping people, teams, and organisations create the one thing that transforms everything:
understanding.
It’s the thread that connects all of my work — from policy design and business mentoring to leadership coaching and community reform.
Because when we truly understand ourselves and others — emotionally, intellectually, and contextually — we can lead better, communicate more honestly, and build systems that actually work.
A Path Shaped by People and Practice
My professional expertise has grown through both study and lived experience.
I’m completing my degree in Psychology, deepening my understanding of human behaviour, emotion, and communication — while applying those principles daily in real-world work.
Alongside this, I trained in the ICF-accredited discipline of coaching through AWAKEN, learning frameworks grounded in reflection, active listening, and outcome-based transformation.
That training gave me the structure to turn insight into progress — helping others navigate challenge with calm, clarity, and compassion.
But most of what I’ve learned didn’t come from textbooks.
It came from people — from the mentors, professionals, and communities who’ve shaped how I think and work.
Working Across Systems and Difference
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across multiple systems and countries, supporting organisations, communities, and leaders to communicate and collaborate more effectively.
I’ve worked with:
Sussex Command, Kent Police, and Oxford Police to improve procedures for supporting neurodivergent individuals in custody and crisis.
Created a Journey Map Scenario documenting the experiences of autistic victims in the justice system, used to inform training and reform.
Helped draft custody protocols for Sussex Command to improve trauma-informed detainee care.
Served on the Autism Programme Board for Sussex and the Kent Transforming Neurodiversity Support Board, advising on accessibility and inclusion.
Delivered meltdown and trauma training for officers and advised the Kent Police Domestic Abuse Advisory Board.
These experiences taught me how systems behave under pressure — and that lasting reform doesn’t begin with policy; it begins with people learning to relate differently.
Building Community and Safeguarding Change
I co-founded a lobbying and representation group focused on improving the lives of neurodivergent survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault, advocating for safer systems and more humane institutional responses.
That work gave me hands-on understanding of:
Trauma-informed safeguarding and recovery.
The intersection of neurodiversity, trauma, and justice.
Community shaping and rebuilding trust where safety has been broken.
The lived realities of neurodivergent people within the criminal justice system.
Community care, I learned, isn’t built through slogans — it’s built through structure, presence, and understanding.
From Advocacy to Enterprise
My journey also extends into entrepreneurship — helping people turn ideas into impact.
I co-founded Joyfully Different, a business community and learning hub for neurodivergent founders.
In its early stages, I helped organise and facilitate panels, workshops, and events, creating spaces for learning, visibility, and collaboration.
As a beginner in business, I was lucky to learn directly from experienced founders and mentors, including:
Phil Ashford and Benna McArtney of Supersonic Startup.
Kyriakos of Nostos.
Biro Florin of Misfit Foundrs and MasterWork Studios.
Jamie Dixon, international narrative coach.
Adam Dobay of Weirdly Successful.
The leader of the Men of Melanin community group.
Heike, CEO and founder of The Good Consulting Company, which provides neurodiversity- and disability-related training to organisations.
Through their mentorship, I learned how to connect enterprise with empathy — how to design accessible, value-led businesses that create impact without losing authenticity.
Together with Supersonic Startup, I helped design a programme that took 12 neurodivergent founders from idea to execution — guiding them from concept to launch and learning from every stage of the process.
Those experiences taught me that enterprise can be a form of social change — that building something with intention and inclusion can shift the systems around it.
Coaching, Communication, and Relational Work
My ICF-accredited coaching background deepened my ability to help people navigate difference with integrity.
Whether I’m coaching a leader, facilitating a team, or consulting on reform, my approach is rooted in emotional intelligence, intellectual honesty, and calm dialogue.
I listen for what’s beneath the words, hold space for reflection, and support people to move from confusion to clarity.
These are what I call conversations that result in deeper understanding — the conversations that turn tension into insight and awareness into progress.
Events, Speaking, and Thought Leadership
I’ve organised and facilitated community events, panels, and workshops through Joyfully Different, helping build spaces where difference is not just welcomed but valued.
I’ve also spoken at TEDxBrighton, sharing a new framework for community — exploring how dialogue, emotional closeness, and integrity can transform how we connect across difference.
These experiences strengthened my ability to translate complex ideas into accessible stories and to design environments where understanding can grow.
How We Work Together
Working with me means slowing down enough to see clearly — and moving forward with steadiness, not reaction.
You might be:
A leader or professional wanting to communicate with authenticity and build trust.
An organisation navigating reform, strategy, or cultural change.
A neurodivergent entrepreneur ready to grow without masking or burnout.
Or someone simply ready to explore what deeper understanding could unlock in your work, relationships, or community.
Together, we create space for reflection, insight, and action.
It’s not about quick fixes — it’s about building the conditions where growth feels grounded and sustainable.
If you’re ready to explore what that could look like for you, I’d love to start a conversation.
